Program Roadmap

Step 1: Sign Up (Day 1)

  • Initial program enrollment

Step 2: Company Registration (1-2 weeks)

  • Register a standard limited liability company (LLC) in Latvia
  • This allows you to run any kind of business in Europe and worldwide

Step 3: Document Preparation (1.5 – 2 months)

  • Prepare all required documentation for TRP application
  • Main applicant will be formally employed in the newly registered Latvian company as manager or director

Step 4: Application Submission (Varies)

  • All family members applying for TRP must visit the relevant Latvian embassy in person

Step 5: Application Evaluation (10 – 30 days)

  • Latvian immigration authorities review and process applications

Step 6: Collect TRP ID Cards (3 – 4 business days)

  • All family members must visit Latvia to collect their TRP ID cards
  • Immigration visa will be granted for this purpose

Required Documents

For Main Applicant:

  • Qualification proof: graduation documents or work experience proof (minimum 3 years in field related to the planned business management position)
  • English legalization required

For All Applicants (14+ years):

  • Police Clearance Certificate from country of citizenship or current residence (if resided there for 12+ months)
  • Certificate valid for 6 months
  • English legalization required

Family Documentation:

  • Marriage Certificate (if applicable) – English legalization required
  • Birth Certificates for children (if applicable) – English legalization required
  • Valid passports for all family members

Financial Documentation (if applying for spouse/children):

  • Proof of funds with minimum balance requirements (may change):
    • EUR 7,500 to support spouse
    • EUR 2,300 additionally for each minor child

Ongoing Requirements

After TRP approval, you’ll need to maintain:

  • Required minimum monthly tax payments every per month (based on progressive government tax rates)
